Angel Dobardziev, Practice Leader

Angel Dobardziev is a practice leader, managing Ovum's research on emerging telecoms markets. In this role Angel leads Ovum's research on telecoms technologies, market trends, and operator and vendor strategies in the fast-growing telecoms markets of the emerging economies.

Angel's research focus spans the wireline and wireless space of the telecoms service provider market, on which he has produced a series of reports and tailored studies, and delivered numerous client workshops and presentations.

Angel has been in the technology and telecoms industry for 11 years in various roles with Ovum, where he has taken part in and led research in the areas of telco strategy and operations, fixed-mobile convergence and substitution, and next-generation network strategies. In a prior role Angel was a practice leader in the IT services area, where he managed Ovum's research into the markets and strategies of global IT services players and enterprises' ICT outsourcing approaches.

Angel is a frequent speaker for senior audiences, both Ovum's clients and at industry conferences and events, and he is regularly quoted in key financial, industry and online media. Angel has a bachelor's degree in Law and an MBA from the University of Westminster.
