Opnext to acquire Stratalight, a 40Gbps subsystem supplierby Daryl Inniss 14 July 2008 Opnext announced on July 9, 2008, that it had entered into a definite agreement to acquire Stratalight Communications for $172 million. The combined entity creates the largest 40Gbps module and subsystem supplier and helps stabilize the 40Gbps supply.
